DAFNA LEMISH is the Interim Dean and Distinguished Professor of Journalism and Media Studies in the School of Communication and Information at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She is the author of KakaoTalk and Facebook: Korean American youth constructing hybrid identities (with Park, 2019); Fear in front of the screen: Children’s fears, nightmares and thrills from TV (with Götz & Holler, 2019); and Beyond the stereotypes: Images of boys and girls and their consequences (co-edited with Götz, 2017). She is a Fellow of the International Communication Association and the Founding Editor of the Journal of Children and Media.
