Elisabeth Maselli acquires books examining the practice of contemporary religion, seeking out work that investigate and shed new light on the politics, culture, and history of the broad fields of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and New Religious Movements. She also commissions titles for the prestigious Rutgers University Press Classics imprint, identifying the most important books published at Rutgers University Press and facilitating their rebirth in stunning new editions. In both areas, she seeks to advance the Rutgers University Press mission to publish scholarship that shapes critical issues, sparks debate, and enriches teaching. In her dual role as Rights Manager of Rutgers University Press, she also work to license translation and subsidiary rights for titles across our areas of acquisitions to bring our books to the broadest possible readership.
