Ebook Information

Many of our books are available as ebooks. They are available to be purchased through our website or other major ebook platforms, such as Amazon, Apple, Barnes and Noble, ebooks.com, Google Ebooks, or Kobo.

You also may be able to access our ebooks through library ebook providers such as De Gruyter, Ebook Central (ProQuest), EBSCO Publishing, NetLibrary, and Project Muse (University Press Content Consortium). Please ask your local librarian how to access ebooks in their collection.

For ebooks purchased from us, we use the Academic Reader platform from Glassboxx. This makes it very simple and quick for you to get the books you’ve purchased in the Academic Reader app on your Android or iOS phones and tablets. It also means our books are protected from being copied, pirated and tampered with, keeping our books authors' happy as well.

After making your first purchase, follow the links on the order success page or confirmation email to download the Academic Reader app to your phone or tablet, and login with the email address used for your purchase. Your books will automatically appear in the MY BOOKS screen of the app, where you can listen or read them using the built-in ereader and audioplayer.

Once you have the app, there’s no need to download it again – whenever you buy more books, just head straight there and your new purchases will be waiting for you.
